
On the morning of February 7, the launch ceremony for Hunan's "Top Ten Technology Tackling Projects" for 2025 was held in Changsha. As the implementing unit of the "Human-Machine Environment" logistics robot project, a representative from Zoomlion participated in the event.
The 2025 "Top Ten Technology Tackling Projects" were selected by the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology after broadly collecting over 400 major research and development demands. These projects were evaluated based on innovation, investment intensity, and industry prospects, and were thoroughly reviewed and analyzed. The "Human-Machine Environment" logistics robot project, selected for inclusion, is based on Zoomlion Co., Ltd. and other partners, aiming to develop intelligent robots for warehouse logistics scenarios and build an AI-native cloud platform that supports embodied intelligence. This project will promote the integration of robotics, generative artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing in the province.

Intelligent robot technology has become a new frontier in global technological competition and a new engine for economic development. Especially in warehouse logistics scenarios, robots face complex and variable working environments as well as diverse, long-range operational tasks. Achieving precise understanding and autonomous adaptation to complex environments and operational behaviors is of great significance for improving warehouse logistics efficiency and reducing operational costs.
The project team has overcome five key technical challenges, including the full-scenario multimodal cross-scale environmental perception and behavior intention understanding technology, the "visual + tactile + haptic" multimodal perception fusion control for universal grasping methods, and the dual-arm collaborative operation motion planning technology for body safety perception. They have successfully developed intelligent logistics robots for warehouse logistics scenarios, key robot components, a visual-language-action model library and action primitive library for full-body motion control, and an AI-native cloud platform that supports embodied intelligence. It is expected that this project will not only bring significant economic benefits but also promote the development of intelligent robots and related industry chains, accelerating the layout of the robotics industry in Hunan Province.
